We proud to be the first mentoring  and coaching service a CIC (Community Interest Company) exclusive for midlife runners. We  especially encourage the runner underdogs over 40 & 50 to run happier, continuously making headway whilst feeling effortless  while training. We have hand crafting training plans, strength training , mental training to  benefit our midlife community.

Location

Whether you prefer online coaching or a hybrid model with face-to-face training, we have you covered. Our 1-to-1 coaching and group programs are designed to help you improve your running technique, prevent injuries, and achieve your desired fitness level.

Local Service in Greater Manchester area:

If you’re in the Greater Manchester area, we offer a hybrid model of face-to-face (20%) and online (80%) coaching. Our experienced coaches will work with you to develop a personalized training plan that meets your goals and fits your busy schedule.

Online Service

For those outside the Greater Manchester area, our online coaching programs are an excellent choice. Our expert coaches provide personalized training plans and online mentoring to help you improve your fitness and achieve your running goals

Midlife Runners CIC mission is to make a positive difference to people in the age group 40 to 60 by encouraging them to adopt running as a way of life. We believe running helps to develop self confidence, boost physical & mental health and improve wellbeing.

ABout ME

 Hi, I am Raji & I started running in my forties with no running experience whatsoever. I was brought up in a culture where sports is for ‘watching’, not ‘experiencing’I am now a qualified England Athleticsrunning coach. At school, I was easily dismissed from taking part in any sports as did not display outwardly any of the physical abilities to excel in sports, like standing only 5.1 feet in adult height. Yet, I managed to run my first Marathon in 2018 in my late forties & in 2019, I conquered one of the highest peaks in the Himalayas. Running has turned my life for the better in more ways than I can imagine. I have lost weight & kept it, and improved my nutrition. I am much fitter than I was in my 30’s, and my menopausal symptoms have reduced drastically. My self-confidence has improved by leaps & bounds. I have also helped others, friend & family to find a new lease of life through running. The closest person I have helped is my husband. He has gone from a couch potato to running marathons, and he has reversed his diabetes. I am also a qualified holistic health and weight loss coach and gained a diploma in fitness & nutrition. I also recently qualified for a Leadership in Running Fitness(LIRF) My passion is to help people in their midlife and more so the underdogs like me to find joy, health, happiness & confidence through running!”
